Resumen
El presente trabajo tuvo como unidad de análisis a la sub cuenca del arroyo Primavera ubicada en el distrito de Hohenau, Itapúa. La investigación ha sido de tipo descriptiva con enfoque cualicuantitativo y ha tenido como objetivo general, describir la condición actual del agua, suelo y vegetación como componentes del ambiente de la sub-cuenca del arroyo Primavera. Como objetivos específicos el estudio contempló caracterizar el estado de los componentes ambientales de la sub cuenca; analizar el factor de mayor preponderancia en cuanto a la degradación de uno de los recursos y determinar el grado de aceptación y compromiso de la población del estudio en cuanto a la implementación de un plan de gestión integral para la sub cuenca. Para el logro de los objetivos se han empleado técnicas de recolección de datos como la encuesta, aplicación de la herramienta FODA a una muestra aleatoria; así como mediciones comparativas de datos de Sistemas de Información Geográfica (SIG- mapas cartográficos) y análisis de laboratorio del componente agua. Los principales resultados indican una contaminación del arroyo Primavera, degradación del suelo y de la vegetación en la sub cuenca. Siendo la contaminación del agua el factor más destacado en cuanto al estado de los recursos en el área del estudio. La población se mostró favorable hacia la implementación de un plan de gestión ambiental para la sub cuenca.

Astract
The present work a unit of analysis the subbasin of the spring stream located in the district of Hohenau, Itapúa. The research has been descriptive with a qualitative-quantitative approach and has as general objective to describe the current condition of water, soil and vegetation as components of the environment of the spring sub-basin. As specific objectives the study contemplated to characterize the state of the environmental components of the sub basin; Analyze the factor of greater preponderance regarding the degradation of one of the resources and determine the degree of acceptance and commitment of the population of the study in the implementation of an integral management plan for the sub basin. To achieve the objectives, data collection techniques such as the survey, application of the SWOT tool to a random sample have been used. As well as comparative data measurements of Geographic Information Systems (GIS – cartographic maps) and laboratory analysis of the water component. The main results indicate a contamination of the spring stream, soil degradation and vegetation in the sub basin. Water pollution is the most important factor in the state of resources in the study area. The population favored the implementation of an environmental management plan for the sub basin.
