Resumen
La presente investigación aborda el estudio de la calidad de la atención en el servicio de patología cervico-genital en el Hospital Distrital de Tomas Romero Pereira, se ha planteado como objetivo: Analizar el grado de calidad que se ofrece en el área de la mujer, específicamente el área de Papanicolaou y colposcopia. La investigación se llevó a cabo en el mes de julio del año 2023; a través de una investigación mixta, con enfoques cuantitativos y cualitativos, aplicada a una población constituida por todas las pacientes que acuden al servicio de patología cervico-genital inferior del Hospital Distrital que representa aproximadamente 50 pacientes mensuales. De dicha población se ha seleccionado una muestra de 30 mujeres en edad reproductiva a quienes se les aplicó una encuesta con preguntas abiertas y cerradas de manera aleatoria a las que acudían el consultorio. Mediante el análisis de los resultados se ha podido llegar a la conclusión de que la atención de que la principal razón por la que no acuden a los controles de salud centrados en el tracto inferior es la falta de tiempo, además se ha podido detectar tres grupo principales, que son: La falta de preocupación; lo problemas asociados al procedimiento y la falta de conocimiento, que hace no dar la importancia suficiente a la realización del PAP y la colposcopia; con lo que se puede afirmar que no existe un autocuidado por parte de las mujeres quienes acuden al nosocomio.

Abstract
The present research addresses the study of the quality of care in the cervico-genital pathology service at the Tomas Romero Pereira District Hospital, the objective has been set: Analyze the degree of quality offered in the area of women, specifically the area of Pap smears and colposcopy. The research was carried out in the month of July 2023; through a mixed investigation, with quantitative and qualitative approaches, applied to a population consisting of all the patients who attend the lower cervico-genital pathology service of the District Hospital, which represents approximately 50 patients per month. From this population, a sample of 30 women of reproductive age have been selected, to whom a survey with open and closed questions was applied randomly to those who attended the clinic. Through the analysis of the results, it has been possible to reach the conclusion that the main reason why they do not attend health checks focused on the lower tract is lack of time. Furthermore, it has been possible to detect three groups. main ones, which are: Lack of concern; the problems associated with the procedure and the lack of knowledge, which means that insufficient importance is given to performing the PAP and colposcopy; with which it can be stated that there is no self-care on the part of the women who go to the hospital.
